Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop with Krista Quinn

Pruning is an essential part of growing fruit trees. Krista Quinn, Urban Forestry Program Coordinator with the Arkansas Forestry Commission, will provide information about fruit tree pruning objectives and methods along with a hands-on pruning demonstration. Following the demonstration, anyone who feels comfortable can try their hand at pruning some of Tri Cycle’s fruit trees with Krista’s guidance and help.

A little more about Krista:

Krista Quinn is the Urban Forestry Program Coordinator with the Arkansas Forestry Commission and the state coordinator for the Tree City USA program. Krista has Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Horticulture from the University of Arkansas and is a certified arborist. She has over 20 years of experience working in horticultural research, production, and education. Krista lives in Conway with her husband and two teenage daughters and volunteers as a Faulkner County Master Gardener and Girl Scout leader.
